COVID 19 Reopening Update (Updated 09/04/21)

Due to the current pandemic, there may be a number of changes to our usual service, please read on for details of these changes.

Services

As of Monday 12th April we are currently open for all our usual services.


Screening Forms

For all new patients we require two consent forms to be completed, ideally online, the links are below. You do not need to fill these in each time you attend, only before your first appointment or if there has been a significant change in your medical history since you last filled in the form.

We can provide you with a paper form when you arrive at the clinic if you prefer or are unable to fill these in electronically.


Arrival to the clinic – when you arrive at the clinic, please sanitise your hands at any of the sanitising dispensers and feel free to take a seat in the waiting area, please be mindful of social distancing rules with anyone else in the clinic.

PPE –  you are legally required to wear a face covering when attending an appointment for assessments and treatments (though you may remove them for gym based sessions). Staff will be wearing face masks at all times and where closer contact is needed for assessments, we will be wearing full PPE (mask, apron, gloves).

Please wash or sanitise your hands when you enter the clinic – we have installed hand sanitiser dispensers throughout the clinic for your use so please use them freely. Please sanitise your hands when leaving the clinic too.

Social Distancing – we ask that you maintain a 2 metre social distancing from others within the clinic, this should be straightforward to achieve with the space that we have and the limited numbers of people we allow in so we welcome your assistance in making this happen.

Toilet Facilities – the toilet remains accessible if you need to use it.

Payment – we would prefer that you pay us via a contactless means, ideally contactless card or phone payments but we can provide bank details if you would like to bank transfer instead. We do still take cash payments if you would prefer this method.

Cleaning – we have implemented a strict cleaning regime between each patient to ensure best practice is adhered to. Each treatment room is thoroughly cleaned after each session. Every piece of gym equipment, waiting area, door handles etc are cleaned after every session so you can be assured when you arrive to the clinic, the standards of cleanliness are as high as possible.

Water/Drink – if you would like a drink at your appointment, please note that we cannot give out glasses of water, please bring your own drink with you.

Triage call – we may need to call you before you attend your appointment, firstly to ensure that we all agree that your case cannot be managed remotely via a video/phone consultation and to ensure that a face to face appointment is justified. Secondly, if we’re happy that a face to face appointment is justified then we will need to go over some screening questions to ensure that it is safe for you to attend the appointment.

Cancellation Charges – if during the pre screening you display any symptoms of Covid 19, we will have to cancel your appointment and rearrange to see you after the appropriate length of self isolation. There will be no cancellation charge applied in the event of this. If you do develop symptoms of Covid 19 after you have arranged an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so we can take necessary action.

FAQs

We aim to provide you with an excellent service from start to finish. If you have any specific questions regarding your appointment or what to expect, please contact us and we’ll be more than happy to answer any questions you might have. Below are answers to some of the most common questions that people ask us; if your query isn’t covered then please don’t hesitate to contact us.

What should I bring?

Ideally a pair of shorts, especially for any lower body injuries. Any relevant footwear would also be helpful, i.e. running trainers, football boots, running spikes etc. For back/neck/shoulder injuries, please bring a top which will allow access to the area, or which you don’t mind taking off.

If you are attending for any conditioning work then a bottle of water would also be recommended.

If you’ve had any previous medical treatment, please bring along any relevant paperwork, consultant’s letters, medications lists etc.

Is there anywhere to park?

There is free parking available outside the clinic.

Are there disabled accessible facilities?

Our Rehab and Performance Centre is all located at ground floor level and has full disabled access and facilities. Please inform us if you have any special requirements and we’ll always do our best to cater for them.

How can I pay?

We accept cash, cheque and all major credit and debit cards. We would prefer if you would consider paying us using a form of contactless payment.
